PORO — Wednesday, February 4, 2026: The Mediator Delegate of Poro, Mr. Michel SÉKA, received the regional section of the Senate of Youth of Côte d’Ivoire during a working session aimed at establishing a partnership between the two institutions.

Led by Ms. Perside AOUTI, Vice President of the Poro Regional Chapter, the delegation presented the organization and overall functioning of the Youth Senate, highlighting activities conducted at the local level. Ms. AOUTI noted that the institution regularly organizes training sessions for young people focusing on civility and awareness of the institutions of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.
In this context, Ms. AOUTI requested the support of the Mediator Delegate to facilitate awareness sessions on the role and missions of the Ombudsman of the Republic.
Welcoming the initiative, Mr. Michel SÉKA encouraged members of the Youth Senate to continue their civic engagement, emphasizing that such efforts contribute to the promotion of civic values and strengthen young people’s understanding of republican institutions. Mr. SÉKA also presented the missions of the Mediation Body and invited the youth representatives to communicate any situation or factor that could weaken social cohesion in the Poro region.
