An awareness and training session on the protection of women against workplace harassment and the promotion of a respectful, safe environment was held at the University of Chenab, Gujrat Campus, under the leadership of Dr. Najma Afzal Khan, Ombudsperson Punjab for Protection of Women. The session was organized by the University’s Office of Student Affairs.

During the session, Dr. Najma Afzal Khan:
๐Ÿ”น Briefed participants on women’s legal rights, complaint mechanisms, and institutional responsibilities regarding workplace harassment
๐Ÿ”น Emphasized that ensuring a dignified, harassment-free environment for women is a collective societal responsibility
๐Ÿ”น Urged students and faculty to remain aware of their rights and to approach relevant forums in the event of any unpleasant situation
๐Ÿ”น Provided awareness banners to the university administration for display at prominent locations across campus

In recognition of their services toward women’s protection and harassment awareness, honorary shields were presented to Ombudsperson Punjab Dr. Najma Afzal Khan and other officials.

The University of Chenab reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a secure, harassment-free educational environment for all students and staff.
