Federal Tax Ombudsman of Pakistan & Secretary General of OICOA Mr. Zafar ul Haq Hijazi, called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed the need for speedy, transparent and due relief to taxpayers through timely disposal of complaints, improved systems and closer coordination with the FBR and other relevant departments. He underlined the importance of implementing recommendations to strengthen grievance redressal and improve tax administration.
Mr. Hijazi briefed him on ongoing reforms and the initiatives taken to facilitate taxpayers and enhance institutional efficiency.
