Amman — Chairman of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, Dr. Muhannad Hijazi, met with a delegation of students enrolled in the Master’s Program in Governance and Anti-Corruption at the Faculty of Law, University of Jordan. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the practical applications of digital tools and information technologies used by the Commission to promote integrity and combat corruption.

Dr. Hijazi emphasized that digitalization plays a pivotal role in strengthening integrity frameworks, increasing transparency, and reducing corruption risks. He noted that combating corruption is a collective national responsibility involving all state institutions and community members, and that the effective use of technology reflects positively on national performance and international evaluations.
The meeting was attended by officials from the Commission, including Director of Legal Affairs Dr. Muhannad Abu Murad, Director of the Media, Communications and Public Relations Unit Ms. Suheir Aldeek, and Director of the Digital Support Directorate Eng. Yinal Majali.

Dr. Hijazi encouraged students to maintain ongoing communication with the Commission, submit innovative ideas, and contribute to national anti-corruption efforts through research, proposals, and practical solutions.
During the session, Dr. Abu Murad and Eng. Majali provided detailed briefings on digital transformation, technological tools used by the Commission, and the role of digital platforms in enhancing compliance with national integrity standards, strengthening the National Integrity Index, simplifying procedures, enabling e-connectivity, and providing secure channels for reporting corruption.
At the conclusion of the visit, the students toured the Digital Evidence Lab at the Digital Support Directorate. Engineers demonstrated the advanced devices and analytical software used to examine digital evidence and accelerate corruption-related investigations. The delegation learned about the lab’s role in supporting transparency, accountability, and timely case processing.
