SAKARYA — Chief Public Ombudsman of Türkiye and President of the OIC Ombudsman Association (OICOA), Mr. Mehmet Akarca, accompanied by Public Ombudsman Mr. Abdullah Cengiz Makas and Secretary General Mr. Mehmet Doğan, paid a courtesy visit to Sakarya Governor Mr. Rahmi Doğan as part of the “Ombudsman Meets with the People of Sakarya” program.
During the meeting, Mr. Akarca presented Governor Doğan with the Public Ombudsman Institution’s 2025 Annual Report, which outlines the Institution’s activities over the reporting period and includes key findings and recommendations aimed at strengthening public administration, improving service delivery, and enhancing citizens’ access to effective complaint-handling mechanisms.
The visit formed part of the Institution’s wider outreach efforts in Sakarya, reinforcing constructive engagement with provincial authorities and promoting public awareness of the Ombudsman’s mandate and services.
