Ankara: Chief Public Ombudsman Mr. Mehmet Akarca and Public Ombudsman Ms. Fatma Benli Yalçın visited the 75th Anniversary Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in connection with Respect for the Elderly Week, reaffirming their commitment to the well-being and dignity of senior citizens.

During the visit, the Ombudsman officials extended their greetings to the residents, congratulated them on the occasion, and engaged in warm conversations. The interaction highlighted the importance of social inclusion and respect for elderly members of society.
The delegation also attended the exhibition featuring paintings and handicrafts created by the residents in their hobby workshops, showcasing their creativity and active participation in community life.
The event was also attended by Ms. Fatma Yiğiter Kara, Deputy General Director of Disabled and Elderly Services at the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and Mr. Cüneyd Özdemir, Ankara Provincial Director of the Ministry.

On the occasion of Respect for the Elderly Week, the participants conveyed their respect, reverence, and affection for senior citizens, while expressing wishes for their continued health, peace, and well-being.
