The High Committee for the Implementation of the National Strategy for Performance Monitoring, Fighting and Preventing Corruption (2025–2030) convened its meeting at the headquarters of the Administrative Supervision Board in Tripoli.

The session opened with remarks by Mr. Ibrahim Ali, Chairman of the High Committee, who underscored the importance of activating the roles of the main and subcommittees and capitalizing on successful national and international experiences. He emphasized that the effective execution of the national strategy is crucial for advancing the principles of transparency and integrity within public institutions.
Mr. Ali reiterated the collective responsibility of all stakeholders in shaping a future Libya free from corruption, stressing that unified action is essential to achieving the country’s long-term governance vision.

During the meeting, members reviewed the committee’s work mechanisms and examined the draft of proposed activities for the final quarter of 2025. These initiatives include preparations for the observance of World Anti-Corruption Day, strengthening regional and international cooperation in combating corruption and money laundering, and outlining the preliminary steps for the 2026 activity plan to ensure alignment with national objectives.
The High Committee’s mandate revolves around ensuring the effective implementation of the national strategy, enhancing government performance monitoring, reinforcing transparency mechanisms, and preventing and combating corruption. These efforts aim to elevate institutional efficiency and strengthen public trust in state institutions.
