The Punjab Probation and Parole Service organized an induction training programme for its newly appointed officers, focusing on the implementation and understanding of the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010. The session aimed to promote dignity, justice, and equality as foundational principles of professional conduct within public institutions.

The training was guided by Fauzia Viqar, Federal Ombudsperson, who provided comprehensive legal guidance and emphasized the importance of institutional responsibility in ensuring safe and respectful workplaces. The programme enhanced participants’ legal awareness while fostering professional sensitivity toward issues of workplace harassment and gender equity.
Officers participated both in person and online, reflecting an inclusive and accessible approach to capacity building. The session concluded with a renewed collective commitment by the officers to uphold the principles of safety, respect, and equal opportunity in their professional roles, reinforcing the organization’s dedication to creating harassment-free work environments.
