Her Excellency Ms. Ghada Hamid Habib, Secretary-General for Grievances and Head of the Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission, received in her office His Excellency Judge Dr. Ibrahim Salman Mohammed Al-Jafn, member of the Commission, on the occasion of his recent attainment of a Doctorate Degree from Cairo University.

During the meeting, Judge Dr. Al-Jafn presented a copy of his doctoral dissertation entitled “Intervention in Civil Proceedings in Criminal Cases.”

Her Excellency Ms. Ghada Hamid Habib warmly welcomed Judge Dr. Al-Jafn and commended his academic achievement, praising the significant effort invested in preparing this valuable legal study. She emphasized that the dissertation represents an important contribution to legal and judicial scholarship, enriching legal thought and supporting the development of mechanisms aimed at strengthening justice and safeguarding rights.

She further noted that such academic contributions play a vital role in enhancing institutional performance and advancing the Commission’s mission in promoting human rights and legal protection frameworks, particularly within the context of prisoners’ and detainees’ rights.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Her Excellency extended her sincere congratulations to Judge Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jafn, wishing him continued success and excellence in both his academic and professional endeavors.

For his part, Judge Dr. Al-Jafn expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and appreciation, acknowledging the continuous support provided by the Secretary-General for Grievances to members of the Commission.
