Amman — November 16
Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan affirmed the government’s firm commitment to protecting investors and ensuring a fair, transparent, and supportive investment environment. The statement came during his meeting on Sunday with the Chairman of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, Dr. Muhannad Hijazi.

The Prime Minister emphasized that any investor facing violations, abuse, or administrative obstacles will be fully protected through the country’s integrity, oversight, and judicial institutions.
He further noted that he will personally follow up on investor-related complaints to ensure justice is delivered and that any individual proven to be involved in wrongdoing will be held accountable within the framework of the law.
Dr. Hassan directed all concerned ministers to fully cooperate with the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Board on matters related to investors, stating:
“It is the duty of institutions and officials to create a supportive environment for investment and provide facilities to all investors.”
He stressed that the government will neither allow officials or entities to hinder investment, nor allow investors to exert improper pressure on decision-makers to pursue interests outside legal and regulatory frameworks.
He added:
“We will not compromise on the application of the law against anyone who abuses power or violates regulations to obstruct investments.”
For his part, Dr. Hijazi reaffirmed that the Commission gives top priority to all investment-related cases to preserve integrity, ensure justice, and protect the rights of investors.
He noted that the Board’s doors are open to receive complaints and that a special window dedicated to investor grievances ensures that all cases are followed up seriously and in accordance with the law.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Investment, Dr. Tariq Abu Ghazaleh.
