Karachi — Ombudsperson Punjab Dr. Najma Afzal Khan called on Governor Sindh Syed Nihal Hashmi at the Governor House, in a meeting focused on strengthening inter-provincial institutional cooperation to ensure safer environments for women and to improve the redressal mechanism for harassment complaints.
Both sides underscored the need for stronger coordination between provincial institutions to advance policies aimed at protecting women’s rights across the country, reaffirming their shared commitment to building safe, dignified, and inclusive spaces for women in workplaces nationwide.
Earlier in her visit, Dr. Najma Afzal Khan paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, at Mazaar-i-Quaid, laying floral wreaths in a gesture of profound respect and reverence for the founder of Pakistan.
