The Provincial Ombudsman Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a member institution of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ombudsman Association, continues to advance legal awareness and citizen engagement initiatives aimed at promoting dignity, justice, and equality within society.

In this regard, an impactful awareness seminar on workplace harassment and women’s property rights was held at Islamia College Peshawar, an institution historically recognized for its contributions to intellectual growth, enlightenment, and progressive thought in the region.

The seminar was attended by Rubab Mehdi, Ombudsperson Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, whose continued outreach efforts across the province have played an important role in strengthening the connection between institutions and communities.

During the seminar, the Ombudsperson emphasized the importance of accessible justice, legal awareness, workplace dignity, and the protection of women’s rights at all levels of society. Her engagement initiatives, including Khuli Kacheris and awareness sessions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were highlighted as important mechanisms for increasing public access to grievance redress and legal guidance.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, reflecting the growing awareness and commitment of young people toward building a safer, more informed, and equitable society.

The seminar also reinforced the importance of educational institutions as platforms for promoting dialogue on human rights, equality, legal protection, and social responsibility.

The initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Provincial Ombudsman Khyber Pakhtunkhwa toward empowering citizens through awareness, strengthening institutional trust, and advancing principles of justice, equality, and good governance.
