Honourable Marriyum Aurangzeb, Senior Minister, Government of Punjab, appreciated the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab for its continued efforts in expanding access to justice and strengthening public trust. She noted that more than 70,000 cases were registered during 2025, reflecting the institution’s growing role in providing effective grievance redressal and public service delivery.

The Senior Minister also acknowledged the historic election of Ms. Ayesha Hamid, Ombudsman Punjab, as First Vice President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI). This distinction marks a significant milestone, as she becomes the first Pakistani and the first Asian to hold this prestigious office.
As a member institution of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ombudsman Association (OICOA), the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab continues to contribute to the promotion of accountability, citizen-centric governance, and access to justice at both national and international levels.
From serving citizens across Punjab to representing Pakistan on the global stage, the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab remains committed to excellence in public service and grievance redressal, while fostering international cooperation and institutional collaboration.
