The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab was honoured to participate in the IX International Scientific-Practical Conference on “Problems of Human Rights Protection: Exchange of Best Practices of Ombudsman”.

The conference, themed “Human Rights Protection in the Context of Digitalization of Society,” brought together global ombudsman institutions, human rights defenders, and legal experts to discuss emerging challenges and opportunities in protecting human rights amid rapid digital transformation.
Discussions focused on key issues such as safeguarding individual rights online, addressing cyber threats, ensuring equitable access to information, and promoting digital inclusion. The event also underscored the vital role of international cooperation in creating robust frameworks to uphold human dignity and accountability in an increasingly digitalized world.

The participation of the Ombudsman Punjab reaffirms its commitment to advancing transparency, accountability, and the protection of human rights while adapting to the evolving demands of the digital age.
