The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab participated in an international conference on human rights protection in the context of digital transformation, held in Uzbekistan on 20 August 2026.
The Punjab delegation was led by:

🔹 Mr. Kaiser Saleem, Secretary, Office of the Ombudsman Punjab
They were accompanied by Ms. Abeera Tanveer, Assistant Director, and Mr. Khalid Ali Goraya, Assistant Director (Coordination-II).
The conference brought together Ombudsman institutions and international representatives from across the globe to deliberate on pressing contemporary issues, including:
✔️ Women’s rights and gender equality in the digital world
✔️ Protection of youth rights in the online environment
✔️ Inclusive digital services and equal participation for persons with disabilities
The participation reflects Ombudsman Punjab’s continued engagement with the global Ombudsman community on emerging human rights challenges in the digital era.
