MAPUTO — The Ombudsman of Mozambique and member of OICOA, Isaque Chande, received Helena Taipo, former Minister of Labour, in a courtesy meeting at his office this week. The discussions covered aspects related to the functioning and mandate of the Ombudsman institution, alongside other matters of mutual interest.

Helena Taipo served as Minister of Labour during the two presidential terms of Armando Emílio Guebuza. She later served as Governor of Sofala Province from 2015 to 2018, and subsequently assumed duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique to the Republic of Angola.
