On the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy, Sabina Aliyeva, Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, together with the staff of the Ombudsman Office, visited the Alley of Martyrs.
During the visit, the cherished memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of Azerbaijan was commemorated with deep respect. Flowers were laid at their graves as a symbol of national gratitude and remembrance.
The visit reaffirmed the Ombudsman Institution’s enduring commitment to honoring the legacy of the martyrs and upholding the values of independence, sovereignty, and human dignity for which they laid down their lives.
