The National Amputee Football Team paid a courtesy visit to the Public Audit Authority, where they were warmly received by Chief Ombudsman Mr. Mehmet Akarca and Mr. Musa Tahsin Doğan, Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Sports Federation for the Physically Disabled.

Welcoming the delegation, Chief Ombudsman Akarca expressed his pleasure at hosting the team as part of the events marking the 3 December International Day of Persons with Disabilities. He highlighted the initiatives carried out by the Public Audit Authority in support of persons with disabilities, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to promoting equal rights, accessibility, and social participation.
Mr. Akarca conveyed his admiration for the strength and determination shown by the national amputee football players, noting that their achievements serve as an inspiration to the nation. He extended his best wishes for continued success in their sporting endeavors.

The meeting was also attended by Public Auditors Mr. Ertunç Erkan Balta, Ms. Fatma Benli Yalçın, Mr. Sadettin Kalkan, and Mr. Özcan Yıldız, who expressed their appreciation for the team’s accomplishments and contributions to Turkish sports.
The visit concluded with a symbolic exchange of good wishes, reaffirming mutual commitment to the empowerment and recognition of persons with disabilities across all spheres of society.
