Abidjan | June 15, 2026 – The Mediator of the Republic received in audience this Monday, June 15, Mrs. Hélène N’Garnim-Ganga, Resident Coordinator of the United Nations Development System (UNDS) in Côte d’Ivoire.

The discussions focused primarily on the critical issue of social cohesion, with both institutions reaffirming their shared conviction that no sustainable development can be achieved without lasting social peace and stability.

The Mediator of the Republic and the United Nations Development System underscored their common commitment to strengthening dialogue, social justice, and peaceful coexistence as fundamental pillars for national development.

During the meeting, the Mediator of the Republic commended the United Nations System’s continued engagement and support for Côte d’Ivoire, highlighting the importance of sustained international cooperation in addressing social and governance challenges.

Both parties reaffirmed their willingness to deepen collaboration between their institutions with the objective of promoting a more inclusive, supportive, and resilient society, where all citizens actively contribute to sustainable development and social harmony.
