Mediator of Morocco Engages University Students on Institutional Mediation and Youth Issues
The Mediator of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Hassan Tariq, a Board Member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ombudsman Association (OICOA), received a delegation from the Moroccan Politics and Diplomacy Club of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) at the institution’s headquarters in Rabat on 13 April 2026.
The delegation, led by student Rabab Emami, visited the Mediator’s office as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement with academic institutions and encourage dialogue with youth on governance-related issues.
The meeting featured presentations on the role and mandate of the Mediator of the Kingdom, highlighting its function in promoting institutional mediation, addressing citizens’ grievances, and enhancing accountability in public administration.
Participants actively engaged in discussions on mediation mechanisms and government commitments, with a particular focus on issues affecting Moroccan youth. The exchange provided students with valuable insights into the functioning of public institutions and the importance of mediation in fostering transparency and trust.
The initiative reflects the Mediator Institution’s commitment to openness, youth engagement, and the promotion of participatory governance, empowering young people to contribute to national development and public dialogue.
