Mediator of the Kingdom Receives Delegation on Climate-Related Challenges in Chefchaouen
The Mediator of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Hassan Tariq, received a delegation representing the regional coordination for the support of individuals affected by climate-related disruptions in the Chefchaouen region.

The meeting, held in Rabat, forms part of a series of communication engagements aimed at addressing concerns raised by affected communities and strengthening dialogue between citizens and public institutions.
During the meeting, representatives of the coordination body presented a detailed file outlining the challenges and constraints faced by communities impacted by climate-related disruptions. The discussion highlighted the social and economic consequences experienced by those affected, including livelihood difficulties and broader community impacts.
The session provided an opportunity for the Mediator of the Kingdom to listen to the concerns raised and review the elements of the case within the framework of the institution’s mandate. This includes receiving, examining, and following up on complaints related to public administration and ensuring that citizens’ grievances are addressed effectively.
The engagement reflects the Mediator Institution’s commitment to fostering dialogue, promoting social justice, and supporting vulnerable communities by ensuring that their concerns are heard and appropriately addressed.
This initiative aligns with OICOA’s mission to strengthen citizen engagement, promote accountability, and enhance good governance among its member institutions.
