The Administrative Control Authority of Libya, a member institution of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ombudsman Association, held a high-level meeting with members of the State Supreme Council to review the Authority’s supervisory report (54–55) covering the years 2024 and 2025.
The meeting took place at the Authority’s headquarters in Tripoli under the chairmanship of Abdullah Qaderbouh.
During the session, participants reviewed key findings contained in the supervisory report, including oversight observations, performance indicators, and detailed assessments relating to entities subject to the Authority’s supervision.
Discussions focused on trends relating to administrative and financial deficiencies identified within a number of public institutions, levels of compliance with financial and administrative regulations, and the extent of institutional responsiveness to the recommendations issued by the Authority.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of the observations and recommendations contained in the report, particularly their role in addressing irregularities, strengthening transparency, enhancing governance standards, and improving institutional performance within state bodies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority and members of the State Supreme Council reaffirmed the importance of continued implementation and follow-up of the report’s recommendations in order to strengthen institutional discipline, activate accountability mechanisms, and support administrative and financial reform efforts in Libya.
The discussions further highlighted the importance of effective oversight and coordinated institutional action in promoting transparency, accountability, and sustainable governance practices.
