H.E. Syed Jamaluddin Shah, Ombudsman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and member of the OIC Ombudsman Association (OICOA), called on the Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan H.E. Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi (also an OICOA member) and formally presented the annual performance report of KPK Ombudsman.

During the meeting, both ombudsmen discussed key areas of institutional collaboration, with a focus on improving mechanisms for addressing public complaints, enhancing administrative performance, and strengthening mutual coordination.

Mr. Jamaluddin Shah emphasized that the swift resolution of citizen grievances and the provision of accessible justice remain his top priorities. He noted that efforts have been made to further streamline the complaints process through the increased integration of technology.

Federal Ombudsman H.E. Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi appreciated the initiatives undertaken by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ombudsman’s office, underscoring that providing timely and effective justice is a national responsibility. He also acknowledged the valuable contributions of provincial ombudsman offices toward improving governance at the grassroots level.

Both sides agreed on the need to continue strengthening institutional cooperation, both bilaterally and within the broader framework of the OICOA.
