On September 14, in Amman, Speaker of the House of Representatives Mazen Al-Qadi received a copy of the 2025 Annual Report of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC) from its Chairman, Hazem Al-Majali. The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Speaker Dr. Khamis Atiyeh and several members of the Commission’s Board.
In a statement issued Monday, Speaker Al-Qadi affirmed that the House of Representatives closely follows the Commission’s work in protecting public funds and strengthening the national integrity system, emphasizing the importance of complementary roles among state institutions in preventing corruption and addressing administrative and financial irregularities.
Al-Qadi described the report as a vital tool for assessing the state of the integrity system and identifying operational challenges, highlighting the importance of:
🔹 Reinforcing a preventive approach to combating corruption
🔹 Early verification measures
🔹 Development of oversight tools
🔹 Entrenching transparency and accountability in public service
For his part, Chairman Al-Majali outlined the report’s key themes, the Commission’s efforts throughout the year, and recommendations to improve operational mechanisms and strengthen the prevention of financial and administrative violations. He also addressed the Commission’s awareness-raising initiatives on integrity and governance, and its efforts to strengthen partnerships with state institutions in support of the rule of law and public trust.
