The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, in partnership with the National Center for Cyber Security, launched a nationwide event on Wednesday titled “With Cyber Awareness We Achieve Digital Integrity.” The initiative also unveiled a new media campaign, “Digital Integrity: Sustainable and Effective Digital Transformation,” building on previous efforts to promote cybersecurity and transparency in the digital domain.

Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mohannad Hijazi, said the launch coincides with Cyber Risks Awareness and Protection of Society Month, underscoring a growing national responsibility to protect digital systems, secure information, and strengthen technological infrastructure. He noted that secure digital processes reduce direct contact between public officials and citizens, enhance trust in institutions, and improve service delivery.

Dr. Hijazi highlighted the recent announcement of the National Integrity Index (Second Cycle), which has sparked healthy competition among ministries to uphold integrity standards—an effort aligned with Jordan’s accelerating digital transformation.
He emphasized that digital solutions and cyber awareness now form a core part of the Authority’s work, ensuring safer electronic transactions and supporting the growth of a secure digital economy.

Head of the National Center for Cyber Security, Eng. Mohamed Al-Samadi, described digital integrity and cybersecurity as “two sides of the same coin,” crucial for trust and good governance. He said the partnership between both institutions represents a national model for a safe and fair digital environment.

He added that the Center’s participation in the government edition of the “Cyber Aware” competition aims to instill a culture of cybersecurity within public institutions and encourage creative, security-focused thinking. The campaign complements the National Cyber Security Strategy, which prioritizes expanded cooperation across sectors.

The event included a presentation on the Authority’s cybersecurity achievements and honored winners of the “Cyber Aware” competition, involving 27 participants from 14 ministries.

  • 1st place: Mahmoud Hijazi, Vocational Training Institute
  • 2nd place: Asma Abu Hamad, Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority
  • 3rd place: Eng. Nasir Al-Kharabsha, Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority

The launch also featured the “Creative Designer” contest for short videos promoting digital integrity and cybersecurity. Jawad Khader, from the Media and Public Relations Unit, won first place for the best creative video.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants, winners, and members of the judging committee were honored for their contributions to advancing a secure and digitally aware society.
