The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, in collaboration with the Jordanian Customs Service, organized a four-day training program titled “Risks of Corruption in Customs”, designed to deepen participants’ understanding of national integrity standards and the various forms of corruption that may arise during customs procedures.

The program featured comprehensive briefings on the mechanisms and preventive measures adopted by the Customs Service to detect, investigate, and combat corruption. Participants also engaged in practical exercises addressing patterns of financial misconduct linked to customs operations, and received an overview of national integrity principles and the Authority’s work across the pillars of law enforcement, integrity, and prevention.

Supervised by the Board’s Center for Innovation and Training, the program brought together 16 participants from the Authority, the Jordanian Customs Department, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, the Income and Sales Tax Department, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Standards and Metrology Organization.
