Amman, Jordan – The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority, through its Innovation and Training Center, organized two specialized workshops for employees of the Jordanian Electricity Company, focusing on the role of modern technologies in combating corruption and the protection of witnesses and whistleblowers.

The first workshop, titled “The Role of Digital, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence in Combating Corruption”, was presented by the Chairman of the Authority’s Cybersecurity Unit. Nineteen employees participated in sessions exploring how cybersecurity, digital integrity, and AI can strengthen anti-corruption measures, protect digital environments, and sustain an attractive investment climate.
The second workshop, “Protection of Witnesses, Whistleblowers, and Experts in Corruption Cases”, engaged eighteen participants. The training detailed the Authority’s role in safeguarding whistleblowers, outlined the rights and responsibilities of protected individuals, and reviewed the legal frameworks and procedures for obtaining protection.
The dual training initiative underscores the Authority’s commitment to enhancing institutional capacity, promoting transparency, and fostering a secure and fair environment for both corporate operations and public service.
