Amman, Jordan – The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Board, through its Innovation and Training Center, has launched a four-day training program titled “Risks of Corruption in Government Procurement”, aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability in public sector procurement processes.

Organized in collaboration with government procurement and tender circles, the program is designed to familiarize participants with inspection and monitoring procedures in procurement and contract management, mechanisms for forming procurement committees in line with the national procurement system, and common violations and malpractices that may lead to corruption in tendering processes.

The sessions also cover National Integrity Standards and the Authority’s role in embedding these principles across public administration institutions to strengthen preventive measures, awareness, and ethical performance.

A total of 25 participants are taking part in the program, representing the Integrity Authority, Ministries of Health and Education, Jordanian Hashemite University, Al al-Bayt University, and the Social and Economic Foundation for Military Retirees and Veterans.

The training reflects the Authority’s ongoing commitment to building institutional capacity, raising awareness among public officials, and ensuring that procurement systems are safeguarded from risks of corruption.
