Amman, Jordan – The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority, in collaboration with the Jordanian Engineers Guild, organized a three-day training workshop on “Construction Contractor (FIDIC)”, designed to strengthen participants’ technical knowledge and understanding of integrity standards in the construction sector.

Supervised by the Authority’s Innovation and Training Center, the workshop introduced participants to critical aspects of project management, including the role of supervising engineers, the importance of maintaining daily workflow reports, the conditions for contract approvals, and the impact of change orders on project timelines and accountability.

The sessions, attended by 18 faculty and administrative members from the University of Jordan, were delivered by experts from the Authority. Presentations highlighted the Authority’s mandate, national integrity standards, and its mission to promote transparency within infrastructure and construction projects.

By enhancing professional capacity, the program seeks to reduce risks of corruption in the construction industry and to align engineering practices with principles of integrity, accountability, and effective governance.
