Irbid, Jordan – The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Board, in collaboration with Yarmouk University, celebrated the winners of the “Innovation in Integrity” competition during a ceremony that highlighted the role of youth, creativity, and academia in strengthening the fight against corruption.

Speaking at the event, Board Secretary-General Amjad Narmouk stressed that combating corruption requires renewed thinking, unconventional approaches, and the creative energy of young people, not just traditional tools.

“This initiative carries national, academic, and humanitarian dimensions,” he said. “Investing in awareness and embedding a culture of integrity must begin on campuses—where knowledge meets innovation and youth shape the future of accountability.”

Narmouk commended the partnership with Yarmouk University, describing it as a model of cooperation between national institutions and academia in empowering youth and promoting values of integrity. He expressed hope that such collaborations would expand to include more universities across the country.

University President Dr. Musa Rababa underscored that integrity must be cultivated as a daily practice and civic responsibility, not just a slogan. He noted that the competition has become a genuine platform for students to channel their creativity into practical projects, strengthening anti-corruption efforts and embedding ethical values in academic life.

The event featured the awarding of students who developed innovative IT and AI solutions, as well as art students whose creative works illustrated themes of integrity in health, education, and public service sectors. Certificates of appreciation were also presented to jury members, faculty, administrative staff, and trainers who contributed to the initiative.

Attendees toured an art exhibition by the Faculty of Fine Arts, showcasing paintings that reflected values of transparency, accountability, and the fight against corruption.

Organized by Yarmouk University’s Center for Leadership and Innovation in partnership with the Board’s Center for Innovation and Training, the competition evaluated student projects in an environment that stimulated creativity, critical thinking, and civic responsibility.
