Amman, Jordan – The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority and the Jordanian Transparency Center Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to strengthen cooperation in promoting integrity, transparency, and anti-corruption awareness across society.

The agreement was signed by Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Sami Salayta, on behalf of the Authority, and Chairman of the Board, Hon. Abujaber, on behalf of the Transparency Center. The MoU outlines areas of collaboration in the implementation of national integrity projects, exchange of non-confidential information, and joint work in media, research, and awareness initiatives, in line with Integrity and Anti-Corruption Law No. (13) of 2016, the UN Convention against Corruption, and the National Integrity Strategy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Salayta said the agreement represents an activation of the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy, highlighting the importance of civil society partnerships in raising awareness and strengthening accountability.

“Combating corruption and promoting integrity is a shared responsibility that requires the unification of all national efforts,” he emphasized.

On his part, Hon. Abujaber commended the Authority’s role in consolidating integrity standards within public administration and affirmed that the collaboration would foster a stronger culture of transparency, accountability, and citizen trust.

The ceremony was attended by Secretary-General Amjad Narmouq, directors of legal affairs, media and communication, integrity and prevention, and local partnerships, along with the Association’s Vice-President Hilda Ajilat and board members Salim Al-Armali and Zharar Guanma.
