Amman, July 29, 2025 – The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority and the National Center for Cyber Security signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today, marking a strategic partnership to enhance cooperation and coordination in the fields of cyber governance and digital integrity.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Muhannad Hijazi, Chairman of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority, and Dr. Ahmed Hayasat, Chairman of the National Cyber Security Center. The MoU aims to foster collaboration on technical support, consultancy, and the development of joint awareness initiatives within the scope of their respective mandates and legislative frameworks.

Key areas of cooperation include exchanging expertise, conducting joint workshops, organizing training programs, co-hosting conferences, and disseminating awareness messages focused on cybersecurity risks and data protection. The agreement also promotes mutual visits to stay informed on advancements in the digital security landscape.

During the signing ceremony, both chairmen expressed their enthusiasm about formalizing this partnership, emphasizing the need for public institutions to unite in protecting digital infrastructure and promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness.

The signing was followed by an event titled “Enabling Integrity in the Digital Space,” held at the headquarters of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority. The event featured the second edition of the “Cyber Aware” competition, designed to measure and enhance employee awareness of cybersecurity practices. The competition involved 45 participants who responded to technical questions through an automated evaluation platform.

Maisa Falilfel secured first place, followed by Fatima Al-Zayat in second and Zahair Ayasra in third. Winners were honored by Dr. Hijazi for their innovative contributions to strengthening the Authority’s cyber defense initiatives.

This initiative builds on the success of the first “Cyber Aware” edition held a month earlier, reinforcing the Authority’s commitment to continuous internal development and cybersecurity education.
