The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority (IACA) of Jordan, in partnership with the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), has officially launched the Fourth Media Campaign for Digital Integrity under the theme:
“We Protect with Cyber Security… and We Elevate with Integrity.”

The launch event was led by Hazem Al-Majali, Chairman of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority, and Engineer Muhammad Al-Samadi, Director of the National Cyber Security Center. The event also featured the announcement of the winners of the “Cyber Aware – Third Edition 2026” Competition, recognizing outstanding participants for their contributions to promoting cyber awareness.
Addressing participants, Hazem Al-Majali emphasized that combating corruption in today’s digital environment requires more than legal and regulatory frameworks. He highlighted the importance of fostering a culture rooted in integrity, transparency, and public awareness of cyber risks.

He stressed that effective anti-corruption efforts depend on strong partnerships among government institutions, continuous capacity building, and investment in people and knowledge.
Al-Majali noted that cybersecurity and integrity are closely interconnected. As governments increasingly rely on digital services and electronic systems, safeguarding these platforms is essential to protecting public resources, securing sensitive information, and preventing corruption.
He explained that both traditional and digital corruption exploit weaknesses in systems and authority for unlawful gain, making cyber resilience and public awareness critical components of corruption prevention.
Engineer Muhammad Al-Samadi underscored that cybersecurity begins long before an attack occurs. He noted that the first line of defense is an informed individual who carefully verifies links, digital requests, and online communications before taking action.
He stated that cyber awareness extends beyond understanding risks—it is the ability to make informed decisions in the digital environment.

Al-Samadi emphasized that while policies, technologies, and procedures provide the framework for cybersecurity, human awareness transforms these measures into effective protection.
He also called for shifting from the concept of a “user who needs protection” to that of a “user who actively participates in protection,” describing cybersecurity as a shared responsibility requiring cooperation among institutions, communities, and individuals.
The event also featured the premiere of the campaign’s promotional video and the announcement of the winners of the Cyber Aware Competition – Third Edition 2026.
The competition encourages participants to develop practical cyber knowledge through interactive learning, decision-making, and real-world cybersecurity challenges, helping strengthen digital responsibility among young people.
The campaign and competition form part of Jordan’s broader national efforts to enhance cybersecurity awareness, promote integrity and transparency, and protect the country’s digital ecosystem.
