In commemoration of the 102nd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and OIC Ombudsman Association Board Member, H.E. Sabina Aliyeva, along with senior officials and staff of the Ombudsman Apparatus, visited the Alley of Honor to pay their respects.
During the visit, the delegation laid flowers at the tomb of the National Leader, reflecting on his enduring contributions to statehood, democratic development, and the institutional foundations for human rights and the rule of law in Azerbaijan.
The commemoration underscored the Ombudsman Institution’s recognition of Heydar Aliyev’s pivotal role in shaping a rights-based governance framework, and reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to upholding the principles and values he championed.
