Pakistan’s youth are not just inheriting the future—they are shaping it. At a dialogue hosted by the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), Federal Ombudsperson Ms. Fauzia Viqar encouraged young people to move beyond frustration and reclaim civic participation through knowledge, dialogue, and data-driven advocacy.

She highlighted that Pakistan’s Constitution already guarantees equality and fundamental rights for all citizens—the real challenge lies in ensuring effective implementation.
During the discussion, participants shared lived experiences of shrinking civic space, online harassment, and barriers to expression, and emphasized the need for stronger institutional support and safer platforms for meaningful youth engagement.
FOSPAH remains committed to amplifying youth voices and advancing rights-based dialogue across Pakistan.
