Islamabad, The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH), in collaboration with the Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP), organized a specialized training session aimed at strengthening the capacity of Inquiry Committee members to ensure safer and harassment-free workplaces.

The session focused on critical areas including legal procedures, evidence standards, the process of committee formation, FOSPAH’s oversight role, and mechanisms for addressing retaliation and false complaints. It also underscored the importance of adhering to institutional codes of conduct as a safeguard for transparency and fairness.
Senior professionals from Mari Engineering, OGDCL, and OGTI actively participated, reflecting a cross-sectoral commitment to aligning workplace practices with the highest standards of justice and accountability.

Speaking at the session, facilitators stressed that empowered and well-trained inquiry committees are the cornerstone of safe, transparent, and inclusive institutions. The initiative reaffirmed FOSPAH and PIP’s shared vision of workplaces where every employee is protected, respected, and valued.
