ISLAMABAD — Federal Tax Ombudsman Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq Hijazi paid a courtesy call on Pakistan Observer President Gauhar Zahid Malik at his office in Islamabad, where the two held discussions on matters of mutual interest.

During the meeting, both dignitaries exchanged views on issues relating to governance, public service delivery, and the role of the media in strengthening transparency and accountability. Mr. Hijazi appreciated the contribution of Pakistan Observer in upholding impartial and fair journalism, acknowledging the publication’s commitment to balanced reporting and its responsible highlighting of public issues.
Mr. Malik thanked the Federal Tax Ombudsman for the visit and reaffirmed the newspaper’s resolve to continue practicing ethical journalism in the national interest.
