The Commander of the Land Forces, General Metin Tokel, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Ombudsman of Türkiye, Mr. Mehmet Akarca. The meeting highlighted the importance of institutional cooperation and dialogue in strengthening public service delivery and safeguarding citizens’ rights.
The Secretary General of the Ombudsman Institution, Mr. Mehmet Do Göran, also participated in the meeting. Discussions focused on areas of mutual interest, ongoing national initiatives, and the Ombudsman Institution’s role in promoting transparency, accountability, and effective governance.
The visit underscored the continued commitment of both institutions to fostering constructive engagement and supporting mechanisms that uphold administrative justice in Türkiye.
