Mehmet Akarca, Chief Ombudsman of Türkiye and President of OICOA, received Olha Kuryshko, Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, during an official visit.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Türkiye, Nariman Celal, as well as the Secretary General of the Public Ombudsman Institution, Mehmet Doğan.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation within the framework of the Institution’s mediation activities, particularly in relation to efforts concerning Ukraine and the Russian Federation. The discussion underscored the importance of dialogue, institutional engagement, and mediation mechanisms in addressing complex international issues.

The meeting reflects the Public Ombudsman Institution’s continued commitment to fostering constructive cooperation and promoting mediation as a tool for peaceful resolution and protection of rights at both national and international levels.
