OICOA President Mehmet Akarca Meets Chief Minister of Staff Ali Yalçın
The Chief Ombudsman of Türkiye and President of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ombudsman Association (OICOA), Mr. Mehmet Akarca, along with the Secretary General of the Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye, Mr. Mehmet Doğan Başan, paid an official visit to the Chief Minister of Staff, Mr. Ali Yalçın.

The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen institutional dialogue and enhance cooperation between the Ombudsman Institution and key government stakeholders.
During the engagement, discussions focused on reinforcing coordination mechanisms, promoting effective public service delivery, and further advancing the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance.
The visit reflects the continued efforts of the Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye to engage with national leadership in order to improve administrative practices and ensure the protection of citizens’ rights.

As President of OICOA, Mr. Akarca continues to play a key role in promoting collaboration among member institutions and strengthening the global ombudsman network.
