Quetta: The Government Girls Primary School in the Killi Niganga area of Loralai district has been restored to full functionality following the intervention of the Mr Ali Ahmed Lehri, Ombudsman for the Province of Balochistan.

The Ombudsman took action on a complaint filed by Akhtar Muhammad, son of Abdul Rasheed, against the District Education Officer (DEO), Loralai. The complainant stated that the transfer of Junior Vernacular Teacher (JVT) Raheela Majeed had rendered the school non-functional, causing serious disruption to the education of female students in the area.

Taking notice of the matter, Ombudsman Ali Ahmed Lehri directed the DEO Loralai to examine the complaint and take immediate corrective measures to ensure continuity of education at the school.

In compliance with the Ombudsman’s directives, the District Education Officer cancelled the transfer order and reposted the concerned teacher to her original position at the Government Girls Primary School, Killi Niganga. Following this action, the school resumed normal academic activities.

The intervention underscores the Balochistan Ombudsman’s commitment to protecting citizens’ rights and ensuring uninterrupted access to education, particularly for girls in remote and underserved areas of the province.
