QUETTA, August 2025: Provincial Ombudsman Balochistan, Nazar Muhammad Baloch, visited Government Boys High School Shafiq Ahmed Khan, where he highlighted critical challenges faced by educational institutions in the region.

During the inspection, he noted that outdated computer equipment in IT labs is restricting students’ access to modern learning tools, while declining enrollment rates raise concerns about the quality and accessibility of education in Quetta. He stressed the urgent need for measures to attract and retain students, improve infrastructure, and ensure regular attendance to safeguard the future of youth.

The Ombudsman issued strong directives to teachers for improving attendance and praised the school’s cleanliness, underscoring efforts to build a more supportive learning environment. His proactive involvement reflects a commitment to addressing systemic shortcomings in education, with the aim of motivating staff and students, enhancing learning outcomes, and fostering regional development.
