Baku: Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, held a meeting with Aleksandr Esaulenko, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Moldova to Azerbaijan, to discuss bilateral cooperation and human rights initiatives.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova, underscoring the importance of continued engagement at both diplomatic and institutional levels.
Sabina Aliyeva briefed the ambassador on her office’s activities in the protection and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms. Highlighting the significance of international collaboration, she emphasized the strong ties between the ombudsman institutions of the two countries, both bilaterally and within international organizations.
The discussions also covered a range of other issues of mutual interest, reflecting the shared commitment of both sides to strengthening cooperation in relevant areas.
Following the meeting, Ambassador Aleksandr Esaulenko visited an exhibition organized at the Ombudsman’s Office, which presented documented accounts related to allegations of genocide and ethnic cleansing policies attributed to Armenia. The ambassador reviewed the exhibits and signed the guest book.
