At the House of Representatives headquarters in Tripoli, the Chairman of the Administrative Supervisory Board, Mr. Abdullah Qaderbouh, met with members of the Finance, Planning, and General Budget Committee to discuss priority financial and administrative oversight matters.

The session focused on the closure of the state’s financial accounts, with emphasis on ensuring all public entities comply with the requirement to lock accounts and submit them to the relevant authorities in line with the State Financial System Law and regulations governing the Budget, Accounts, and Warehouses Department. Mr. Qaderbouh underscored the Board’s responsibility to take precautionary measures against any entities or officials in violation of these legal provisions, as stipulated in Law No. (20) of 2013, as amended, and its executive regulations.
The meeting also reviewed the performance of the General Administration for Contracts, including its role in project implementation oversight. Parliamentary members highlighted restrictive observations raised during committee work and urged effective administrative and organizational improvements to ensure efficiency and compliance.
The discussion concluded with agreement on the need for the Chairman of the Board to address all outstanding issues, resolve procedural obstacles, and implement solutions that will enable the General Administration to fully meet its assigned mandate in accordance with prevailing legislation.
