The Chairman of the Administrative Oversight Board, Mr. Abdullah Qaderbouh, met today with Mrs. Naima Al-Aribi, Vice President of the Council of Freedoms and Human Rights, to review the Council’s performance and assess its compliance with legislative and regulatory mandates.
The meeting focused on the evaluation of Council appointments, revealing instances where legal requirements for certain positions had not been met. Mr. Qaderbouh emphasized the need to appoint qualified and competent individuals, while recommending that employees not meeting conditions be referred to the Ministry of Civil Service for reassignment according to national priorities.
Discussions also addressed the importance of finalizing financial entitlements for eligible Council staff in line with the law, ensuring their rights are protected while institutional reforms are pursued.
Mr. Qaderbouh underlined the necessity of coordinated efforts among national institutions to uphold justice, protect rights, and strengthen citizens’ trust in state bodies. He stressed that effective oversight, transparency, and accountability are essential to reinforcing the principles of good governance and safeguarding public confidence.
