The President of the Administrative Oversight Board, Mr. Abdullah Qaderbouh, chaired an extensive meeting with directors of the General Administration for Contract Inspection and Project Monitoring to review performance, strengthen supervisory mechanisms, and ensure efficiency in the execution of public projects.

The meeting is part of a series of technical follow-ups under the Board’s 2025–2030 strategic plan, aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in managing public funds. Discussions centered on contract reviews, auditing financial payments, and monitoring project implementation indicators, ensuring that entities comply with legal provisions governing contracts and financial management.
Mr. Qaderbouh emphasized the need for strict adherence to Law No. (2) of 2023, amending Law No. (20) of 2013 on the establishment of the Administrative Oversight Body, stressing that violators will face accountability measures.
The meeting reviewed recent field reports, assessed project compliance with timelines and specifications, and considered ways to intensify monitoring visits and strengthen communication with stakeholders. The chairman underlined the importance of adopting continuous monitoring and evaluation tools, supported by clear performance indicators, to ensure effective supervision and timely corrective action.
Organizational improvements were also highlighted, including the development of standardized forms, updated documentation procedures, and regular stakeholder meetings, all aimed at preventing waste, irregularities, and administrative failures in major projects.
Mr. Qaderbouh reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to maintaining a high-paced, precise methodology in supervision, ensuring that oversight mechanisms keep pace with legislative and administrative developments while bolstering public trust in state institutions.
