Cairo — Wednesday, 11 February 2026: The Administrative Control Authority, member institution of OICOA representing the State of Libya, participated in a high-level regional program for anti-corruption control authorities, hosted by Egypt’s Administrative Oversight Authority in cooperation with the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong International Academy for Anti-Corruption (HKIAAC). The program was held from 10–12 February 2026 at the National Anti-Corruption Academy in Cairo.

The programme brought together representatives of oversight and anti-corruption bodies from several countries, including Jordan, Algeria, Palestine, and Saudi Arabia, providing a platform for exchanging experiences and exploring approaches to enhance oversight tools and institutional coordination in combating corruption-related offences.
Discussions focused on strategic areas, including the development of methodologies for investigation, prevention, and awareness, the use of artificial intelligence and information technology to strengthen detection and analytical capabilities, and methods to measure the impact and effectiveness of anti-corruption interventions. The agenda also covered mechanisms for cross-border cooperation, including asset recovery, as well as strengthening corporate responsibility and institutional compliance programmes.
