Lahore – As part of its ongoing professional development and institutional strengthening initiatives, the Research & Development Wing of the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab conducted a series of in-house capacity-building sessions on irrigation-related complaints at the Head Office in Lahore, as well as Regional Offices in Multan, Jhang, and Sargodha.

These structured training sessions brought together Advisors, Consultants, and investigation staff to analyze emerging patterns in irrigation-related grievances and review key challenges encountered during complaint processing and investigation procedures.
Participants engaged in detailed discussions on improving complaint assessment methodologies, enhancing the quality and accuracy of investigative findings, and ensuring greater consistency in decision-making across regional offices. The sessions also included the examination of real case studies, enabling staff to develop practical and solution-oriented approaches for handling complex irrigation disputes.

Through interactive learning and knowledge-sharing exercises, the sessions aimed to strengthen institutional capacity, improve procedural efficiency, and promote uniform standards in complaint handling.
The initiative reflects the Ombudsman Punjab’s continued commitment to effective grievance redressal, legal compliance, and the delivery of responsive and citizen-centric public services across all operational levels.
