Lahore, Pakistan – The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab proudly announced that Honourable Ombudsman Punjab, Ms. Ayesha Hamid, has been elected as the first-ever Pakistani Ombudsman to hold the position of Second Vice-President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), headquartered in Vienna, Austria.
This historic achievement underscores Pakistan’s growing leadership role in the global Ombudsman community and reflects the country’s commitment to accountability, justice, and the protection of citizens’ rights.
