Federal Tax Ombudsman Intern Jahan Khan Contributes to Successful Management of International Ombudsman Conference in Rome
Rome, Italy: The International Ombudsman Conference held at the Italian Parliament in Rome on 28–29 May 2026 brought together ombudsman institutions, policymakers, academics, and governance experts from around the world to discuss citizen protection, rights, democratic innovation, and emerging governance challenges.
Among the professionals contributing to the successful organization and management of the conference was Jahan Khan, an intern associated with both the Federal Tax Ombudsman Pakistan (FTO) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ombudsman Association (OICOA).
As part of the conference management team, Jahan Khan supported various organizational and coordination activities that facilitated the smooth conduct of one of the most significant international gatherings of ombudsman institutions and accountability bodies.
His participation reflects the growing importance of engaging young professionals in international governance platforms and providing opportunities for future leaders to gain practical exposure to global best practices in public administration, accountability, and citizens’ rights protection.
